1. Using the Site
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and read the content on the Site for your own use. You may share links freely. You may not:
- Republish full articles elsewhere without credit and a link back;
- Scrape, mirror, or bulk-download the Site’s content for repackaging;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its hosting infrastructure;
- Use automated tools to probe the Site for vulnerabilities.
The Site is static and contains no server-side input handling, so there is little to attack — but the above still applies.
2. The content
Articles on the Site are informational, based on first-hand experience, and reflect the authors’ understanding at the time of writing. They are not professional advice:
- Tax, legal, and immigration matters change frequently and vary by individual circumstance. Always verify with the official source (FBR, a consulate, a university admissions office) before acting.
- Payment and banking references (Wise, Payoneer, banks) describe services at the time of writing; fees, terms, and availability change — check the provider’s current terms.
- Scholarship and visa information is time-sensitive. Confirm deadlines and eligibility on the official program website.
You use the Site at your own risk. We are not liable for decisions you make based on the content (see Section 6).
3. User submissions
The Site has no comments, no forum, and no file uploads — by design. If you contact us via the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter, you agree:
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- You will not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights;
- Newsletter and contact-form submissions are processed by third-party providers (Buttondown and Formspree respectively), whose terms also apply.
4. Third-party links and services
The Site links to external services — Discord, Upwork, Fiverr, Wise, Payoneer, universities, government portals, and others. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, terms, or practices. Your use of any third-party service is at your own risk and subject to that service’s own terms.
5. Intellectual property
The Site’s name, logo, design, and original article content are owned by YoPakistan. The underlying software (apart from third-party libraries) is provided as-is for the operation of the Site. Third-party libraries retain their original licenses.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information on it is accurate, complete, or current.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YoPakistan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Site — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Site is free and static, the maximum aggregate liability of YoPakistan for any claim is nil.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold YoPakistan harmless from any claim arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms.
9. Changes to the Site and these terms
We may modify or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, without notice. We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
