Microsoft may buy Nokia hardware unit

Sources claim that the companies are in talks. Microsoft Corp. is in talks with Nokia regarding the purchase of its hardware division known as Nokia Devices Unit. As the words from sources, Nokia is near to close the negotiations with Microsoft. Having an understanding, Nokia believe that by and large they are not present in today's mobile market on the scale that the corporation would want to, so Microsoft has to take active steps to bring the market back for both of them.

Negotiations between Nokia and Microsoft have recently been really are on the go, and in contrast to Samsung or Huawei sides in the debate progressed really far. With all the same potential negotiators company could not even agree on a price, whereas with Microsoft is contributing a mutual understanding with the downfall in the mobile market.

As per sources that Nokia is now unlikely to sell its hardware division, as it potentially has more opportunities to get out of the red zone of the mobile market. In addition, Finland's Nokia - it is a matter of national prestige and power of the country will likely oppose the sale, and perhaps even offer subsidies, as it once did the Japanese government, through supporting local banks Japanese electronics manufacturers.

It was also noted that it's unclear how Microsoft could offer for Nokia Devices Unit, but rough estimates of experts, this amount should be about $ 14 billion - this is exactly the capitalization of the company now.

Officially, Nokia and Microsoft does not comment on the probability of the deal, but the press-service companies predict that the two companies are in "priority partnership", which involves close cooperation on various issues, including strategic as well as the corporate segment for both parties.

Over the past few weeks Nokia has been accessed by several major manufacturers, including China's Huawei, on the purchase of the hardware business, but none accomplished in getting even close to Microsoft as per now.
