    Post Power tariff decreased for lifeline consumers

    ISLAMABAD: The government on Thursday announced a minor decrease (Rs 2.67 per unit) in power tariff for domestic consumers. The government has extended the lifeline electricity consumers quota from 50 units per month to 100 units from May 2012. According to a notification issued by the Water and Power Ministry, the government had reduced electricity rates by Rs 2.67 per unit for domestic consumers.
