Easy Way to Check Your Connection is Secure in Google Chrome

With one simple change in the Google Chrome browser is easier now to find out whether our connection is secure. Secure connection means that your information that you put on the website is transferred as it is, without being hacked, changed or altered to the server. In simple words you are being safe to use that website who is using SSL certificate or secure connection.

All thanks to the addition of the new marker "safe" on the browser address bar on extreme left side. Preceded by a green padlock text will appear every time you connect to the site using HTTPS (rather than HTTP). This symbol means that our connection is encrypted and the information you send out on that site (eg. Logins and passwords, credit card information), will remain private. Specially, this detail must necessarily is important to pay attention when ever you log in to the bank via the Internet, buy any items and pay online etc.

If you do not get the green padlock and the word "safe" can mean that we went to a fake website and someone is trying to extort from us a login and password.

But sometimes it is not true 100%, but can be helpful in nearly all scenarios. With one of the best on going projects, LetsEncrypt is providing free SSL certificates and is supported by huge internet giant companies. You have to be very careful as LetsEncrypt provide free SSL certificate, hackers or malware websites can also use SSL certificate and show HTTPS urls and even try to steal your personal information. So always be sure that you check the Website Ranking, read website reviews and analyze the SEO Stats and Trust of that particular website, before entering your sensitive information.
