But at those times when stress and anxiety set in, however, you can do a whole lot more than simply waiting for it to go away.     Actually, the best way to exercise away stress and anxiety is to actually exercise, as this will help you release the tension from your body. One problem with this option is that it is often during your day at work that you will experience the most stress. But actually, you can keep some weights under your desk and pull them out every once in a while to unwind, or you can simply take a walk around your building, and in this way you can still work out at work.

    Breathing exercises are another great way to help relieve the tension that builds up in your body when you are stressed and feeling anxious. Instead of focusing on the source from which your stress is coming, take deep, full breaths and focus on the rise and fall of your chest. The best thing of all about breathing exercises is that you can do them anywhere, at any time of day.

    Stretching is another one of the easiest ways to relieve the stress and tension that sometimes builds up in your body. Again, you can stretch at work, at home, and even in your car keeping the muscles in your body loose and allowing the anxiety to slip away.

    It can be difficult to force yourself to take a moment to relieve this stress and anxiety at times. But you will find that you feel much better afterward if you force yourself to do this, and this will help you be ready to tackle the rest of the day.
