About YoPakistan
Freelance. Study Abroad. Get Paid Globally. Practical, first-hand guides for Pakistani youth on remote work, scholarships, exam prep, and earning internationally.
Why this exists
YoPakistan was born out of frustration. The information Pakistani youth need — how to freelance, how to get a scholarship, how to pass CSS, how to actually receive international payments — is scattered across YouTube videos selling courses, Facebook groups full of spam, and websites that were last updated in 2019.
We wanted one place where the advice is direct, the experience is real, and nobody is trying to sell you anything. This is that place.
What we publish
Four pillars, chosen because they're where Pakistani youth consistently hit walls — and where the right information changes the outcome:
Freelance & Remote Work
Land international clients, set real rates, and build a remote income from Pakistan.
Study Abroad & Scholarships
Scholarships, applications, and visa playbooks for studying abroad on a real budget.
Exams & Skills
CSS strategy, IELTS tactics, and the skills that genuinely move your career forward.
Money & Payments
Receive international payments, pick the right payout method, and keep more of your money.
What we stand for
First-hand experience over theory
Every guide is written by someone who actually did the thing — freelanced, applied for the scholarship, took the exam, received the payment. No AI-generated filler, no copy-pasted lists.
Built for Pakistani youth (18–30)
The advice assumes the constraints you actually face: power outages, payment friction, currency slides, visa hurdles, family expectations. Not the Bali-digital-nomad fantasy.
No upsells, no course pitches
Everything here is free and will stay free. We don't sell a $499 'freelancing masterclass.' If someone in the Discord recommends a paid tool, it's because they use it — not because of an affiliate deal.
Static, secure, minimal
This site has no database, no user accounts, no login. It's static HTML. That's a deliberate security choice — there's almost nothing here to hack, and nothing of yours to leak.
The security promise
This site is built deliberately minimal. There is:
- No database — nothing about you is stored here.
- No user accounts or login — there's nothing to log into.
- No comment system — discussion lives on Discord, where it belongs, not on a page we have to moderate and protect.
- No file uploads — ever. (This is the exact attack vector that compromised forums on this domain in the past.)
- No custom backend — the newsletter and contact forms go to managed third-party services (Buttondown, Formspree) that handle their own security patching, not code we maintain.
If a future feature request seems to require any of the above, we will say so rather than building it quietly. These boundaries exist because of past incidents — they are not suggestions.
